The first part of the meeting was dedicated to a presentation of Slovenian expert dr. Valentina Franca who gave an overview on employee participation in management, what is crucial when informing and consulting the employees, good practices and future trends.
In the frame of Workstream 1: Awareness, BiznesAlbania reported on carried out national workshop and fruitful debate among participants on project subject matter. After a comprehensive presentation on employee participation by an expert, trade unions changed their opinion on usefulness of this institute.
The meeting was followed by a debate on the experiment in Montenegrin and Macedonian pilot companies. Project partners BCM and MEF, and companies’ representatives are actively involved in the process of information and consultation. Soon, national meetings will be organized in pilot companies (with representatives of BCM, MEF and ZDS) to discuss on-going activities in detail, problems/doubts pilot companies are facing and any open issues.
In the frame of Workstream 3: Monitoring, project partners prom Bulgaria, Croatia and Slovenia discussed national recommendations to improve the existing legislation and preparation of the opinion on the adequacy of EU acts.
Workstream 4: Management is being implemented in accordance with its plan. Partners will meet again in Ljubljana in November 2019.
