In order to achieve that objective, we will explore the labour legislation and other legal bases of work payment, as well as different systems of current wage models in Slovenia and foreign countries. We will search for examples of good practices and unite all the gained knowledge into the base for the formulation of the new wage model for the private sector in Slovenia. The ZDS will organize several seminars, workshops, different forms of counselling and a final conference on the topic “Remuneration in the Company”. In accordance with the progress of the project activities, we will gradually update the ZDS’s website with new contents on the emerging wage model, subject and time validity of the collective agreements and, in addition, we will issue manuals for employers regarding the abovementioned topics.
The project is also aiming to improve awareness of employers regarding the social dialogue in Slovenia and other EU countries by issuing a new employers’ journal called Delodajalec (Employer). The first edition of the monthly journal Delodajalec was issued on 1 February 2010. In the journal we publish information that employers need in order to implement the contents of the agreement of the social partners, reached in the framework of social dialogue. Other themes in the monthly journal Delodajalec are considered from economic, legal and tax perspectives.
The project is being financed by the EU (European Social Fund) and the Republic of Slovenia.
