High representatives of the employers and industrial associations from Austria (IV), Hungary (MGYOSZ), Slovakia (RUZ), Czech republic (SP), Croatia (HUP) and Slovenia (ZDS) gathered in Portorož from 6 – 7 June 2019 for a meeting of CEE Federations Initiative.

After reports about current economic and political developments in each of the CEE countries, the participants debated on specific important topics:

• European election results: How to improve industrial/business awareness of the MEPs, 
• Industrial Policy 2.0 – Industrial Policy in the 21st Century, 
• European social dialogue work program 2019 – 2020 (country experience exchange)

The participants discussed possible solutions for common problems and ways to influence the relevant institutions both at home and at European level.
